I've decided to analyze online streaming services and whether or not it's better than cable television because it is something that many of people use daily, including myself. As a user myself, I feel that online streaming services give you the option of watching whenever you want, wherever you want, and as often as you want. I am able to watch tv shows and movies from a computer, phone, or the iPad through a streaming service without being bound to a television. However, others may feel differently because of what they are use to. With the rise of the internet streaming services have become more popular to younger generations and transformed the way people find their entertainment sources. As competition continues to rise between different online streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu and Disney+, it's important to understand why online streaming has become so popular and why it is seen as more convenient than the television. I plan to provide a research the history of television and its transition to online streaming services, as well as analyze the positive and negative effects, as well as its changes to society.
